Start with the result you want

Do not peel or pry off loose product to prepare for the appointment. Tell the salon about it. Pain, broken skin or unusual changes should be raised before covering the area with a cosmetic finish.

Write down the complete quote

Confirm the base service, removal, repairs and design additions separately where applicable. Use the current quote rather than old market price ranges or a comparison that assumes all salons include the same work.

Example comparison note: desired short oval shape; existing product unknown; removal may be needed; plain colour preferred. Ask which listed acrylic or gel service matches that request and what the full visit includes. The answer should determine the booking, not a claim that one material wins for everyone.
